Pontypridd (by all accounts) threw the much needed win against Bedwas on the weekend away in the last quarter in a 27-27 draw. Unexpeceted by some, but the inherant complacency that the Pontypridd shirt sometimes generates was apparently evident here. Coach Simon King was not the happiest of chaps after seeing Ponty lose their 27-15 advantage going into the last 20 minutes, blaming slipping standards.
