Pontypridd put in a strong performance off the back of some bad luck (and bad results) to win at home against bottom table team Ebbw Vale.

This gives Pontypridd hope as Aberavons strength was lacking against Llanelli and leaves only a 3 point table difference. Bridgend once again maintained dominance over an evenly contested game at home to Llandovery.  Although the top 4 have not changed, there seems to be something under the surface and 3rd place should be within Pontypridd's grasp.
