The plague that success brings has begun with TP.NET learning that last weekend, Pontypridd supremo Dafydd Lockyer has signed to play next season rugby for Llanelli Scarlets. While it is obviously a shame that such talent will no longer grace Sardis Road, the jewels that the club has developed over the last couple of seasons has paid off.

We wait with baited breath who from the Academy makes Blues first team next season, but until it is announced we can hope that some of the boys that led Ponty to win the Cup will be back for part of the season.
