The competition for the St Bart's Flask will resumed again when Pontypridd Youth (2) play Porth Harlequins Youth on Saturday 26 January at Abercynon. The Flask was first played for in September 1989 by 2 international packed rugby teams to raise money for a children's charity. Since then the Flask has been proudly displayed in the trophy cabinets of Porth Harlequins Rugby Club. It is hoped that the match for the St Bart's Flask will be played for each time Pontypridd Youth play Porth and will give an added incentive for the boys to play for. All monies collected on the day will go to local children's charities as chosen by the players of both teams on the day. Please come along on the day or if you can't make but want to donate please send a cheque to Pontypridd Rugby Club for the attention of Martyn Lewis.
