U7's development Ystrad Rhondda Development 20 - 5 Pontypridd
The lads really had a go today, but were unfortunate not to have had a couple more tries. Well done though. Thanks to Keillan Mahoney who played for Ystrad when they were one man short.
Try scorer Rhys Britton (1). Man of the match : Joshua Powell.
Thanks also to the parents of the U8s as well for raising nearly £20 for the 2007 Scotland Tour.
Under 8's
Ystrad Rhondda 15 - 25 Pontypridd
Thankfully, the weather was much better than last week at the Treorchy tournament. The lads also played much better as well. It's the best they've played all season. Their passing was much better with nearly all passes going to hand (and hardly any dropped balls). Much better support play as well. The team is really shaping up to be a good unit.
Try Scorers Lucas Hickman (2), Mason Pritchard (1), Callum Pearce (1) and Ryan Wheeler (1). Man of the match : Rhys Grainger.
