Rhondda District v Bridgend District

Llandovery RFC Saturday 21st April 2007 KO 2pm 

In an all valleys final between the Rhondda and Bridgend, it shows that despite the best efforts of the WRU to ruin valleys rugby, there are still quality players coming through.

The Rhondda have great pedigree, having won the competition four times in the last eight years, including last season against Pontypridd District.

With players in our very own Pontypridd senior team and Youth set up having come through the ranks with the Rhondda there is great support and respect between the two, especially with former Ponty favourite Neil Boobyer also involved in the Rhondda coaching set up.

Everyone involved at Pontypridd RFC wish the Rhondda good luck and please bring the trophy home again. 

Rhondda Coach Chris Jones commented that 'the more travelling support the team can get the better their chances will be of lifting the trophy again.' So lets lend our support and cheer for another valleys victory...
