Pontypridd District Rugby invites very player who plays rugby at clubs within Pontypridd District to the Open training sessions below:

 
U12s Open Training Session Wednesday 15th August 2pm – 4pm @ Dog Track, Hawthorn
U13s Open Training Session Thursday 16th August 2pm – 4pm @ Dog Track, Hawthorn
U14s Open Training Session Friday 17th August 2pm – 4pm @ Dog Track, Hawthorn

Pontypridd District Rugby will be running a Positional skills work shop and then a Full Trial for each of the age groups U12s U13s and U14s.  Obviously these groups are set for the squads for next season i.e. this seasons DC Thomas team will be next seasons U12 and so on through the age groups.
 
Every player who plays rugby at clubs within Pontypridd District will be invited to an Open training session. The following dates have been set aside for these:
 
U12s Open Training Session Wednesday 15th August 2pm – 4pm @ Dog Track, Hawthorn
U13s Open Training Session Thursday 16th August 2pm – 4pm @ Dog Track, Hawthorn
U14s Open Training Session Friday 17th August 2pm – 4pm @ Dog Track, Hawthorn
 
Following this day the following dates have been set aside for Full Trials:
 
U12s Trial Wednesday 29th August 2pm – 4pm @ Dog Track, Hawthorn
U13s Trial Thursday 30th August 2pm – 4pm @ Dog Track, Hawthorn
U14s Trial Friday 31st August 2pm – 4pm @ Dog Track, Hawthorn
 
We have yet to finalise the coaching staff for each age group although I hope to retain all staff from this season and add one or two more coaches.  It is hoped that each age group will have 1 coach at level 2 with 1/2 coaches of level 1 standard.

If you would like to nominate yourself for any of the teams then please put you name forward plus a short statement detailing your reasons.
 
Finally, throughout the season it is hoped that all teams will train on a Friday evening so that we do not clash with club/school training and matches.
