 This is the website of the hugely successful Pontypridd RFC Mini and Junior Section. The mini section is based at Taff Vale Park, Pontypridd. Whilst the Junior Section is also based at Coed-y-lan Playing fields adjacent to Cilfynydd RFC, along with playing matches at Taff Vale Park and Sardis Road. We have a thriving section with successful teams at every age level.
We play matches throughout the UK and are keen to find fixtures with clubs all over the UK, anyone interested should contact Neil Mogford on 01443 650023 or e-mail pontykids@btinternet.com.

Under 16's get go-ahead...
Pontypridd RFC Mini & Junior Section can confirm that despite the current Under 15's coach stepping down due to family commitments, the section does intend running an under 16's side next season. A new Team Manager and coaching staff have already been appointed, with the first training session starting next month, time and date to be confirmed, Teamponty will keep you informed. Pontypridd Youngsters Unbeaten for the Third Year Running Pontypridd RFC Under 10’s have just enjoyed a highly successful season remaining unbeaten for the third successive year. Throughout the season they scored a total of 1355 points and conceded just 91. Winning all four tournaments that they entered,including the Taff Rhondda District Tournament, the Brecon Tournament, Barkers Butts (Coventry) Tournament and the Pontypridd Tournament at Sardis Road. In the four tournaments they scored a total of 83 tries conceding just 3. An excellent season congratulations to all the children for their tremendous achievement.
