 This is the website of the hugely successful Pontypridd RFC Mini and Junior Section. The mini section is based at Taff Vale Park, Pontypridd. Whilst the Junior Section is also based at Coed-y-lan Playing fields adjacent to Cilfynydd RFC, along with playing matches at Taff Vale Park and Sardis Road. We have a thriving section with successful teams at every age level.

YOUTH RUGBYPONTYPRIDD 3 - 52 BEDWAS
Ponty struggled to find any continuity in this their first match of the season against a very strong Bedwas side that contained several Dragons players. With several key players missing and despite several good individual performances, Ponty looked a shadow of the team that ended last season, though take nothing away from the opposition who looked extremely sharp having played several matches already this season. Hopefully with the return of several key players in the coming days the Upstarts can rediscover the form that got them promoted seven divisions before the season and league matches begin in earnest? Under 8's Pontypridd 10 - 15 Rhiwbina @ Halt time Cardiff Blues v Gloucester, Cardiff Arms Park 25th August 2007. In their first outing of the season, the new Pontypridd Under 8's gave a good account of themselves in this entertaining match that had the Arms Park crowd enthralled.
