Andy Howell of the Western Mail Reports that the Cardiff players and bosses are "furious" that nearly half the capacity 12,120 crowd for their Munster match were from Ireland. Firstly, they should be grateful for the money the crowd generated? Secondly, if they dropped the Cardiff tag and made an effort to be a true region, then they wouldn't have to worry about away supporters as tickets would sell out locally? Maybe I'm wrong, but I feel their failure to adopt a neutral name or embrace the wider region, is why they don't engage with the majority of rugby supporters who live within their allocated 'regional' boundary and why they have to rely on away supporters to fill the Arms Park! Pontypridd 37 (:) 8 Aberavon |

In a game that saw the men sorted from the boys (and judging by the hieghts of most of Aberavon's squad, telling the difference is a fine art), Pontypridd got into the swing of things right from the off. Exactly what Pontypridd needed (and the supporters for that matter), the home side enforced thier dominance in a strong and determined manner. The 1% that seems to matter so much to Pontypridd was there in abundance with stand out tries and exciting, flowing rugby.
