Pontypridd Youngsters Unbeaten for the Third Year Running Pontypridd RFC Under 10’s have just enjoyed a highly successful season remaining unbeaten for the third successive year. Throughout the season they scored a total of 1355 points and conceded just 91. Winning all four tournaments that they entered,including the Taff Rhondda District Tournament, the Brecon Tournament, Barkers Butts (Coventry) Tournament and the Pontypridd Tournament at Sardis Road. In the four tournaments they scored a total of 83 tries conceding just 3. An excellent season congratulations to all the children for their tremendous achievement. Many have alluded to, but now it has been confirmed. The coaching setup for Pontypridd is look inwards to replace Simon King for next season. Paul John is moving up to take the big seat as head coach, and THE Valley Commando, Dale McIntosh is filling the Assistant Coach role. Hopefully, this will retain momentum for a team that has recently seemed perpetually in flux. Regardless, The Chief is staying put...ALL HAIL THE CHIEF!
